The season's last sales bargains

I feel there has been sales for ever since they practically started before Christmas. Nevertheless, we are already in March and even though some shops still are trying the get rid of their last sales items, I think it is safe to say that the winter sales are officially over. So here is a small summary of the last items I found on sales this past month.

Dress from Stradivarius, one of their last sales items left... Was reduced from 27,99€ to 5,99€

Black leather peep toe pumps from Mango Outlet. Was reduced from 49,99€ to 11,99€.

Dress also from Mango Oulet, was on sales for only 3,99€.

Shoes from Xti Footwear with heel. I have been doubt for a while if I liked these kind of shoes or not, and all though I still think there are many ugly versions of them, I really liked these in black. Was reduced from 39,99€ to 29,99€.

This last pair of pumps, I bought when I was visiting Paris in February. They are not actually for me, but an early birthday present for my co-writer (basically because they did not have them in my size!). In the Michael Kors store in the Rue Faubourg Saint-Honoré  they had their last weekend of sales with many items up to 70% off. And there is where I found these fabulous shoes, reduced from 150€ to 45€. A very nice bargain..

New shoes from Mango

During the month of December I have a general shopping role; I cannot buy anything for myself only Christmas presents. Firstly, with all the presents, you really can't afford any more shopping and secondly it is just silly to buy clothes in December when everything is going to be on sale in January.

Nevertheless, what I have discovered while doing my X-mas shopping is that many stores have already started with some kind of sales. In many display windows you will see signs of 30%, 40% even 50% of discounts. I guess we don't need to underline how badly the economy is going and how desperate the stores are for people to buy more!

I went to Mango Outlet this weekend and what do I find? They have discounts! When buying from the new collection you got a 30% off when buying one article and a 40% off when buying two articles. I did get one Christmas present and then I found these shoes I could not say no to:



Leather ballerinas with nit bows. Was before being sold in the outlet 45€, then reduced to 20€ and with my 40% discount I only paid 12€. Seriously, I don't think I could have done a better bargain in January...

Bargains from Mango outlet

I visited Mango outlet the other day (in C/ Girona 37) and found a couple of nice thing to very economical prices. The reason is that they are "taras" meaning clothes with small errors. Nevertheless, the errors are pointed out with a small sticker and if the error is small or almost not visible, for me it really doesn't matter. Further more, the clothes were on sale.

Mango outlet - and the sales continues

My co-writer put me on a mission the other day: finding her a new and cheap blazer (as she lost the one she had).

We are at the end of the sales season, so there are really not a lot left in the shops (and what's left has not been bought for a reason..).

Nevertheless, I went by Mango outlet, where they still have a lot of stuff: outlet from previous seasons, now even more reduced as well as "taras" - clothes with some kind of defect.
I found this blazer among the "taras" which I think is from the new season. It was reduced from 50€ to 15€ and the only thing I could see that was wrong with is was that is was missing a button (which is quickly fixed).


While I was there, I acciendtly stumbled over this dress that I have had an eye on when it first hit the shops. It's a dress made out of silk in the colour nude. It was a bit wrinkley when I found it, but after a bit of ironing I think it will be okay. It is not a dress I will be using many times anyways.
The before price for the dress was 70€, now it was reduced to 6€.

Outlet sales shopping

So I had a look in the Outlet street of Barcelona (c.Girona, beneath Gran via) and I made a few bargains..


In Mango Outlet I found the jeans shorts (made of a really soft material) - price 8€ (60kr.), before price was 30€.

I also found the jacket in Mango Outlet - price 10€ (75kr.), before price 45€.

The scarf I bought in Nice Things Outlet, it only cost 3€ (21 kr.).

I had a look in Mango outlet the other day and found these nice summer sandals. They are made of suede in this salmon / beige colour that you see a lot of this season. They will be useful for work and dinners (not good with heals so shouldn't do too much walking in them..).

The before price was 55€ (410kr.), they were reduced to 25€ (190kr)
