Just a small update on what I have been buying this past month... some was on sale and some I just had to have! And it actually ads up to a lot more than I expected!

Aux Champs-Elysées...

I was in Paris last weekend to enjoy a couple of days there with my friends.

It was very cold, so we spent most of the time in stores (it was the last week of the sales) and being inside eating cheese and drinking red wine.
Even so, we did manage to do some tourism; climbing to the top of Montmatre and visiting Champs-Elysées.

Since I last had been on Champs-Elysées, a Marks & Spenser had opened (with clothes and English supermarket) as well as the Abercrombie and Fitch store. Even if it has been almost a year since it opened and it was a cold winter Sunday, there were still people queueing outside to get in. I will save the pleasure to another less cold day...



The only thing I actually bought on the trip was a dress from Promod. It was on sales for 12€.

A little trip to the UK...

I took a little trip to London and the south of England in January. All though there was a lot of sales to be found in the stores, I still got the feeling of arriving a bit late, as the sales had already started in December.
Just to say that I did not found them to be as good as in Barcelona..



I had a stroll down Oxfordstreet and the most remarqable news was the opening of Forever 21. It was a nice 3 floor store, but even so, I was not as enthusiastic about the clothes as the time I visited the store in New York..


As always I also visited Primark, where I got some basics and this striped dress with belt for 9,99 pounds.


In the store Internacionale I found this blazer on sale for only 10 pounds.

Marni for H&M

Already in November (before the 2nd Versace collection hit the stores) H&M announced a new design collaboration - and this time they are creating a spring collection with the Italian label and the designer Consuelo Castiglioni.

The collection hits stores and the internet on March 8 and it will include both men's - and women's clothing, accessories such as shoes, belts, jewellery and scarfs.

"I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favorite pieces in signature fabrics and prints," explains Consuelo Castiglioni. "As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colors, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements."

I don't know about you, but I am really excited about this collection - I was not, unfortunately, a big fan of their last design collaboration with Versace . The designs, colours and patterns just was not my taste. But from what I have seen so far of the Marni collection - this looks really good!

Jordi Labanda Home

The sales are also still on here in Barcelona and I made a great bargain the other day, finding something for the house for a change.

I came by it in the store Cotton Reus (a store with economical things for the house, such as sheets blankets, towels or tablecloths).

I discovered that they had things from Jordi Labanda Home for 70% off. As I have always loved the designs of Jordi Labanda and because of the interesting discount I could not help myself and got a set of bed sheets and a set of towels.

Small towels, before 4,99€ now 1,49€.
